STI GROUP PRESENTATION
Topics: Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, HIV Infection, Hepatitis B, Genital Herpes, Genital Warts/ HPV, and Pubic Lice (Crabs)
Thing You Must Cover In Your Presentations:
1) What is the STD/STI
2) Is the STI/STD Bacterial, Fungal, Virus or Parasite
3) How is it transmitted
4) Signs and symptoms in males and females
5) How to get tested
6) Treatment
7) How to prevent the STI/STD from spreading
PRESENTATIONS:
1) Students must be prepared to present on their assigned day!!!!!!!
2) Each person in the group must present for a minimum of 2 min.
3) Presenters must make an effort to engage the audience
4) Presenters must speak clearly and loud enough to be heard by entire class
DO
NOT READ DIRECTLY FROM PAPER (NOTE CARDS)
5) Students must display a mastery of the topic that is evident threw the presentation.
6) Group must conclude their presentation by answering any question the class may have about the STI/STD.
PRESENTATIONS MUST INCLUDE:
7) Poster with 4 or more Diagrams and or Visual Aids on it.
8) Word find or puzzle for the students based on your STI/STD.
B) Must have a minimum of 10 words pertaining to presentation
9) One page informational handout for the class on your STI/STD.
10) If you do a Power Point or VHS presentation you do not have to have a poster. Power Point must include 8 or more slides.
